I just installed my office cd for os9. I am trying to upgrade it to jaguar but cant find where the download is. Can anyone help?

I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to do. Are you attempting to update your Mac from OS 9 to OS X Jaguar?

Or, are you trying to use your Office 2001 applications in Jaguar? If so, you'll probably find them in "/Applications(Mac OS 9)/Microsoft Office".

Also, what kind of Mac do you have, memory, and OS version(s)?

No i am under jaguar and i have the ms office 2001 cd which was made for os 9. So to use it in jaguar i was wondering were i can get the update for it to use it in jag without classic.

Alas, no can do. Microsoft does offer a DISCOUNTED upgrade for users of Office 2001 for OS9, but not a free download.

Indeed, not a download of any sort - you have to order the CD from them.

brianleahy is right. Office 2001 runs in OS 9 (and Classic) only. If you want Office X for OS X, you'll need to pay to upgrade.

Having said that, I find Office 2001 works very well in Classic. I use Word 2001 regularly. I'll upgrade eventually.
