I use MS Word v. X nearly everyday. I find its Work menu a handy way to shelve documents I work on frequently, though what documents those are change from week to week and month to month.
Previously, I was able to add or delete documents to the Work menu, but no more. At least, I can add them just fine via the selection in the Work menu itself, but can no longer delete them.
I had been used to using Command+Option+Minus to delete documents. This doesn't work. (The cursor does NOT turn into a "-" sign, like it should.)
What is really weird is when I double-check Word's Help for this, it tells me to use "z+Option+Minus" - total nonsense.
I suspect that some setting or file is corrupt and needs to be deleted and rebuilt, but have no clue where to start. Please do not tell me that I need to reinstall the app from scratch!
