J j79 chuok May 1, 2003 #7 I had the same issue as rhale1 and ryanlang Checking out the Apple forums, I found out that an old version of 3ivx was causing some issues. When I removed 3ivx, all issues disappeared. Goodluck.

rhale1 KU Mac Geek May 1, 2003 #9 I also have the latest QT, but I don't have 3ivx. It could be b/c I'm only on dial-up (past webcasts have worked fine, thought).

K kcmac Registered May 1, 2003 #10 I originally had problems and thought it was my dsl connection at work. Found out a preference in QT was not set correctly. Qt preferences>connection>transport setup>transport protocol. For some reason, my protocol was UDP. When I changed it to HTTP everything worked fine. What is UDP anyway?
