Music ISP poses iTunes threat

Is it UK only? 30 pounds is a hefty amount per month. You could take that same amount and buy a nice amount of tracks at the iTMS. Plus (and here's the biggie), no deal with major record labels yet.
But at least it will be Mac compatible, another sign that Apple is continuing to carve a niche for itself.

That ISP and the iTMS will cooperate well, considering neither is available where the other is.

Except, last time I checked, you couldn't use iTMS in the UK.

And £30 isn't much over the average price of a DSL connection anyway, mine is just under 30 inc VAT

If this is just in the UK, it might be quicker than Europe iTMS, but I would have to wonder how easy it will be to score the big company's approval for just the UK, especially while Apple is working on ironing out details with all of Europe.
Plus, if it us just in the UK, how much revenue could this generate, especially if people need to switch Internet service to this ISP. The story kept talking about royalties, but no details.
