My fingers hurt !! soft touch keyboard recommendations?

Hi there,

I got sick of my Apple Pro Keyboard because keys would become hard to press especially if you didn't come straight down on the keys.. I love my powerbook keyboard, so someone recommended the Icekey by MacAlly. I loved it at first, but after some time, it is starting to KILL my fingers because the keys have a hard landing.. I tend to be a hard typer, so when I type fast and furiously, it starts to really hurt my knuckles.. a sensation I have never gotten with my Powerbook keyboard.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a super duper comfortable keyboard to type fast and furiously on??

I don’t have a recommendation for a different keyboard but I’ve noticed the difficulty with the Apple keyboard as it ages, pressing a key if you don’t press straight down. Pop the keycap off and lubricate the plastic cylinder with a little silicon spay. I don’t mean to actually spray the key but rather spray a little silicon on a cotton swab and dab it on the cylinder part or stick the swab down the little tube the key fits into.

You don’t need to do every key, just the problem ones, it works great.

You can pop a keycap off by maneuvering a short piece of thin string under the keycap so that you’re gripping both ends. Then just pull up.

You can get silicon spray lots of places.
