Hi Guys
This is my first post so please forgive me if I'm not following the proper procedure but I am desperate.
Here is my story.
I have a G5, software update urged me to update system software so I clicked the button.
Two hours later the dreaded multi colour pizza was still spinning.
One hour later, still spinning.
Decided to force quit but would not work, pizza still spinning.
Drastic action was needed so I held on/off button in until machine turned off.
Now the problems start.
On restarting all I had was the LED under the power button winking at me three times continually.
I consulted the mighty Google only to be informed the winking lights meant that I have incompatible RAM.How can this be when it has not been moved or touched in any way.
Decided to remove Ram and reinstall it.
Now I have just one light winking at me continually.
Can anyone help
All my work is on that G5 (one whole week not backed up)
Thanks in advance guys
