Hi there. I recently bought a Macbook Pro 13 inches. And yes, I am a newbie. I game a lot, but I also bought it to do some recordings. I decided to use bootcamp and install windows 7. I put about 80 gb on my bootcamp drive. After installing windows 7 and updating and all those stuff, I went onto youtube to view a video. After finishing the video, I noticed that my Mac froze on me for about 10-20 seconds. I tried looking everywhere to see if I could find a solution, but there weren't really any that helped. I have tried scanning, cleaning my hard drive, and basically anything I could find to fix up my Mac. I also tried disabling the 3D interface on my NVDIA card, but nothing seem to help. BUT I also noticed that my Windows Media player stopped responding after I used it a couple of times and I made a new folder for it, so I can make it work again. Sometimes it won't play any songs and I have to close it and open it again for it to work. I also NOTICED that while playing my windows media player, it stops the freezing. I don't know why, but it stops. I was wondering whether it has something to do with my graphics card getting confused at which software I am using? Or is it because of my windows media player? When I game it does not freeze on me. Only when I get done watching a video on youtube, and those other sites where I can view videos. It runs perfectly fine on Mac OS X and everything is up to date. I use windows 7 a lot because I have Microsoft Office 07 and I need it for my homework, and I don't have the money to get the Mac version. It will be a great help if someone can help me figure out this problem. Otherwise, I'm just a bit annoyed when it freezes and I don't think it should be acting like this. My nephew owns a Macbook and has Windows 7 on it, and it doesn't freeze on him, and also my brother has one too. This has never occurred to them, and they have checked my Macbook Pro for anything running behind the background, and all those things. They couldn't find what was wrong with it. Sorry, it's kind of long.
