My Mac will not boot

I updated iTunes and QuickTime and was required to reboot.

My G4 has not been able to boot up since.

There farthest I have gotten is to a blank solid blue screen after the apple icon.

I have tried:

CMD + S while restarting
Shift Key while restarting.
CMD + OPT + P + R
CMD + OPT + Shift + Delete
C
CMD + OPT

Nothing is working.

Do you have your Macs original Installation disc or a Retail version?

Try booting with it in the drive and hold "C" when you hear the startup chime.

Then after the language page look for the menu bar at the top of the screen and under "Utilities" launch Disc Utility and Repair both Permissions/Disc.

There is also a Hardware Test you can run.

I tried that (holding "c") with an OS CD. It never went past the apple icon.

This is too strange.
