Ok, this happened to me before and i didnt find a solution...i just switched back to my mouse and it worked fine. Now its back...and on MY mouse wchih leads me to believe that it wasn't the other mouse's problem. It has to do something with software. Im using the mouse thats described below in my signature. today i restarted my computer and it started going slow and jerky...it takes 5 seconds to move it from one side to the other...well not jerky just VERY SLOW and when i go to sys prefs it sayz everything is at high so it should be moving quickly. i slide the bar down and back up and now it works...well, at least in sys prefs..the second i change apps and select the desktop or anything else, it goes slow again. i tried my brothers B & W G3 hockeypuck mouse (the one that gave me the problem a long time ago) to see if THAT one would work...still no luck. any ideas? btw now im forced to use my cr*py trackpad mouse which is horrible...works fine and fast but i hate it.
