my powerbook ejected any disc inserted

dear technicians,

i've problems with my Pbook recently. it rejected any disc inserted. it ain't read anything at all. because usually it's running but now its just like reading a bad disc and stall then pushed out the disc again. dya have any idea why was that?

my latest deeds are i burn some dvd promo of my works, does it wrecked the optical?

how much it cost to change it, do i have to change the drive all?

I guess your drive is bad if you are sure the discs are oke. Try booting the system disk, if that fails to, then call the local dealer for a price estimate for replacement (which in general is quite expensive).
