need driver for my epson printer/scanner

Long story, but I happen to have an Epson Stylus CX3810 all-in-one printer/copier/scanner (I know, I know, it won't do any of them very well, but that's all I need), and it only came with Windows drivers. I doubt I'll be able to get the scanner to work (though I'll take any advice!), but would really like to be able to use the printer. I hoped that OS X (i'm using v. 10.3.9 on my iBook G4) would just figure it out, since I *thought* it came with generic drivers, but no such luck.
Any advice would be appreciated!

The CX3810 won't work on a Mac. There are no drivers. Neither Gimp-Print or PrintFab support this printer.

I have a friend with this printer. Couldn't get it working for him.
