Need Help with CDROM

Hey All. I am having trouble mounting my cdrom. I have no idea why. I can't mount it or anything. Any help would be appreciated.

The most likely cause of the trouble is bad or incompatible media. If the CD is scratched or is formatted using a file system the Mac doesn't recognise, it will not mount.

If this is happening on ALL the CDs you try and mount, then its possible your automount daemon has been disabled.
There's a post roughly relating to that here:

The easiest way to fix that is reboot, but you could restart the daemon manually if you needed to.

Ok, thanks for the reply, but after the Darwin install, the cdrom was never configured. I used XpostFacrto to install my system, although the cdrom read the installation package. Afterwards, I couldn't access the cdrom drive.
