Need info for a Beige G3

My friend has a 266mhz Beige G3 that he's trying to upgrade.
Apperantly it's Rev B.

He wants a 2nd Video Card and USB (firewire?). We just found some RAM that works with it.

Can anyone give us some recomendations on cards that will work with it while staying at a reasonably low price if at all possible?

And can we run OS X on it?

I have a Beige G3 266 which I have overclocked to 293 (and oc'd the bus to 83mhz). It runs osx.
I added a Rage Orion card (16megs video ram) which works fine along side the build in video in osx and os9.
For Firewire and USB, I chose a combo card made by OrangeMicro. It works flawlessly.

I have also added an ethernet card with a DEC chip set, and it works well.

My only complaint is that the on board video really sucks ;) compared with the rage orion.

If you're feeling gutsy, you might want to consider YellowDogLinux (http://www.yellowdoglinux.com) or some other PPC Linux. I'm no fan of linux (but I am a BSD fan...), but Linux runs as fast on my beige g3 as osx does on my g4 733. Seriously.

Your beige g3 will run os x pretty well although once you try a dual processor at an apple store... heh well lets just say you'll wish you had $3k extra =)
