Hi guys

I LOVE THE NEW LOOK!

Right, I've just got some new server space, and I'm looking to use it, my site in its current incarnation is : http://www.adamswbrown.tk. As you can see all i have on there is my art work and my designs, thats all i really need, unless you can htink of anything else cool .

What I am asking, is do you have any ideas on how to improve the look, or possibly a new one? The site itself is missing something, a 'zing', but I'm not sure what.

Im kind of working on the 'tentacle' design, but i don't know how to do absolute positioning, in Go-live, any ideas? Or can you think of a better way of displaying my content?

I'm looking for a clean crisp look.

To become a mod, you ask last year when Ed put out the offer. It's too late for new mods, I think.

For your site, I would try spelling "view" and "spare" correctly, for starters. The design is pretty simple; I can see how you might want to spruce it up a bit, but I'm not sure quite how, maybe add more texture(s).

As for your positioning problems, tell me exactly what they are and I'll see how I can help.

Hey there! You've got a pretty nice website going! And I agree with you that it could use a little more "zing". So what I suggest to you is to JOLT your thinking. Designers/artists tend to get into a mode of thinking after a while where they create a website/picture based on past experiences. What we want to do is get you out of that habit. How do we do that? JOLT your thinking! Basically think of what you're making, why you make it the way you do, and how you make it like that. Try the following website for help on this (it's a common problem with all designers/artists) and this website really can help if you let it!

Well have had a few ideas, I was testing a totally CSS/Html built site today, although it seams a bit bear, no images just shades and text might use it i don't know.

As for the css positions I'm trying to get a Iframe in the on the left of an image. I will post it tomorrow hopefully, need to splice it properly.
