need more info on Microtek 9800XL

I've been trying to get this to show up in Acrobat

I have loaded drivers into the plug ins for Acrobat and it just doesnt show.

I am using vuscan which works fine and makes it into pdf
but I would love to skip that step.

any suggestions are welcome
