Netmeeting, I have found software for OS X but am unable to run it

You should realise that this is software in development, and is released to people with a strong knowledge of the inner workings of Unix development for testing and feedback. It is not, at this stage, "primetime" ... that is, its not really built for the end user.

- Do you know about compiling software?

- Do you know about or use Fink? Have you used Fink to install the Esound Daemon?

- Did you try using the precompiled binaries for Esound Daemon?

- OpenH323 ... did you compile it, or use the precompiled binaries?

- Can you access the binaries via the terminal? Do they run at all? If not, do they return any kind of error?

Again, I should point out that this is developmental software. It probably has only a rudimentary interface if it has an interface at all. It will be unstable. It is intended for developers and testers.

If you are reasonably confident that you understand most of what I asked you, then go for it. Otherwise, you'll just have to run NetMeeting in VPC (does that work, anyone?).

I have X.1.5 and VPC 5.0.4

I cannot get VPC to connect to the network over the DSL line. So I cannot try.
