I am in charge of a network of Macs at a small private school, and I'm relatively new to Mac networking, so please forgive me if there is an "easy" solution to this problem.
I have a G4 PowerMac running 10.3.9, wirelessly connected to an Airport Extreme Base Station using an Aeropad USB Ethernet adapter. It has been working fine for months, but all of a sudden it cannot obtain an Internet connection. I am getting network connection, and can see other computers on the network, but nothing loads in Safari, or in IE. In the Aeropad settings, it indicates it is not connected, although I can in fact see other computers on the network. I tried removing and reinstalling the Aeropad, but it still isn't working. Additionally, the system hangs on the Aeropad settings when trying to shut down. It might be a part of the problem.
