networking 2 macs!

I just bought a powermac dp 867 and need to network it to my g4 powerbook, I just want to be able to mount the hard drive of one on the other. My only previous experience with networking is with a win2000 machine and my powerbook. I used DAVE to mount the harddrive of the win2000 machine on the laptop. How do I network the macs?

Plug a crossover cable into each and turn on File Sharing. Your Help Menu will have info. Under OS X, go to the Go Menu to Connect to Server. It will find the other machine.

thanks for your help, might sound silly but it was too easy! My previous experience was with pcs and networking them eas always more complicated. This worked straight away!
