Networking - Mac and Windows 98

Hi, well i might not actually go ahead with trying to network my old windows 98SE PC with my new emac, but i was wondering how would you do it? Like i would like to share my cable internet access with the PC even though at the moment i have the ethernet port from the modem plugged into the mac and the usb port into the pc and it works fine but the way my ISP works it uses a login client that allows only one user using the same account online at one time. I would like to transfer files between both computers on a network thingy without using a pen stick or using the webserver on the mac ? Just a few suggestions please .. :)

- Get a cheap Ethernet hub and connect all your computers and your cable-modem to it.
- Run the Cable modem client on your Mac only.
- If you then turn on Internet sharing on the Mac the PC will be able to access the net.
- I'd turn on FTP and Windows File Sharing on the Mac so you can logon from the PC and transfer files.

Ah ok thanks for that it sounds pretty simple ! Although should i have any problems with windows file sharing with windows 98 ? And also like if i do get a ethernet hub i have to plug an ethernet cable into the hub from my pc and then plug a ethernet cable in from the mac and one from the modem right ? Jus making sure lol...
Thanks again i might go shopping ...

Oh and i forgot with the internet sharing preference on the mac, see i use a login client for connecting to the internet and like i said above like i cant have two people on at the same time it doesnt work would this interfere?
