networking with osx

After having recently had a network re-build (network is entirely mac), my workplace is experiencing difficulty imaging several of their g4 e-macs running osx onto the network. These emacs are running thru different hubs.

Can you describe for me the imaging process (so im sure were doing the right thing), and offer and suggestions as to what local terminal settings may be inhibiting the imaging process.

You might want to replace the hubs with switches if it's still possible. It seems as though it's an network infrastructure problem.
