new iPod vs. old iPod?

What's the difference, besides the new one being thinner, and lighter, and the buttons and the dock.

Is there any functionality the new one has the old one doesn't?

The new ones have solitary. And you can create playlists with the ipod.
And they work both with Mac and Windows.

Ugh! The waiting is killing me

I just bought a 20GB iPod (old style as of Tuesday) at CompUSA on the way home from work - for $350.

And have been trying to compare online the differences to see if I should open it and enjoy the prize I've waited so long for, or wait until tomorrow and visit my Apple Store and see if the 15GB or 30GB new style iPod is a "better" pod?

I'm thinking the 20GB is the best deal, and since my main purpose for buying one is to listen to music or audio books that there isn't any good reason for me to buy the new one instead.

An-tic-i-pation, an-tic-i-pa-A-tion is making me wait.
