New iPod

How big is the possibility that the upcomming new iPod acutally will be a PDA of a kind?

I mean, it could be great the have a device that can play music, small videoclips and to check your email on it.

I know that the PDA sales are dropping for all the vendors of those, but a Apple PDA like the Newton would be nice to have.

Steve Jobs has said that the PDA market is not something he wants to be in, so I seriously doubt the new ipods will have any more pda-like features than what it has.

i really hope that the ipods don't overlap the usefulness of the t68i, which has some PDA functionality.
what i would love to see is a tablet PC-like deal but for note-taking and internet only. it would be much smaller (maybe about 2 or 3 times the size of an ipod) than a tablet pc and much cheaper. not nearly as powerful, either.
all i would use a tablet for is to control stuff (control my computer, my phone, etc), taking notes in class, and surfing the internet at the local coffee shop. i think a device like this would be neat =) .
