I thought they had decided not to continue with this campaign?

while I enjoy the ads, I agree the PC guy is far more likable.

I'm glad Apple is at least trying to look like they care about the youth market. Now if only they'd start acting like it. I'd love to see more kid-friendly products like the original CRT iMacs, and Apple could do a bit to court more game developers. I remember in '97-2000, shortly after Steve Jobs returned to Apple, he made quite a big deal about exactly these things. I think they just forgot.

I agree with TTC. I find the PC guy far more likable, while the Mac dude comes across as superficial, pretentious, pompous and just not someone I'd like to hang out with.

Perhaps making the PC guy more likable makes PC users not immediately loose attention, and see the commercial as propaganda. They identify with him. They aren't the Mac guy, they're the PC guy.
