I was just wondering, what would you guys think of a new Mac OS X Features Guide application? If you're not aware previous releases can be downloaded here. The newest version (if you want it) will be programed in Cocoa, and stylized for OS X.1 and X.2!

So tell me, would it be handy for you?

Yes. However, I recommend that before you jump in, you pack it full of more tips and tricks, then get somebody to proof-read it for you. The last couple of editions had quite a few typos in there.

Any suggestions on the sort of tips we should throw in there? I would suggest you throw in:

- How to set up FTP, creating a chroot jail for users, setting up anonymous FTP.
- How to connect to a Windows machine with the Samba client.
- How to play "Dock Scrabble" :D

Hey, thanks for your opinions!
I'll be sure to pack it full of things this time, and work on the typo's (Though I can't take credit for thoughs. :) ) I'll also need beta testers, I'll post when I have a beta ready.

Thanks again, everybody!

I plan on making two versions: one in REALbasic and another in Cocoa. But I don't know which should come first. The cocoa one will take a long time to develop, while the REALbasic one will only take around a month.

So...do any of you have anything against applications made in REALbasic?

I don't although I'd prefer the Cocoa version(as I'm sure most people would).

As long as it's fast, there's no real problem.
