Anyone heard of an upgraded mac mini due soon? I was in my local apple store earlier today looking at purchasing a mac mini to use in an a/v installation that I'm designing and the salesman "suggested" that I should hold on several more weeks, as he thought an upgrade to the mini line was coming, one that might possibly have hdmi outputs. Thoughts??

It's been an awful long time since the Mac mini has seen a major update. It's still using the Core Duo processors instead of the newer Core 2 Duo processors, which the MacBooks have had for quite a long time. So that salesperson's advice is certainly not bad advice. However that the Mac mini itself would get a HDMI port... Dunno about that. But isn't there a simple DVI-HDMI converter available?
