New PB specs..

Well, until now it always amazed me how people spotted these things.. but I was lookin at the specs for the new PowerBooks, and i noticed a couple of things that really only leave one explanation to me, which doesn't seem right..

The 12" has (I'm listing relevant specs)
ATA/100 40G HDD; Airport Extreme (54Mbps) Ready; Built-in Bluetooth 1.1; 78(US)/79(ISO) Key Keyboard.

The 17" has
ATA/100 60G HDD; Built-in Airport Extreme (54Mbps) Card; Built-in Bluetooth 1.1; 78(US)/79(ISO) Key Keyboard.

now here's the weird part.

The two 15" models have
ATA/66 40 or 60 Gig HDDs; Airport (11Mbps) Ready (Airport Card included with 1ghz model); 77(US)/78(ISO) Key Keyboard.

Also. it seems the 15" remains Titanium encased, while the 12" uses "an Aluminium-Alloy", and the 17" doesnt have any mention of the case. Is it just me, or did they just add two models, one above and one below the then current PB's, without changing a thing? i mean. a 12" with faster HDD, faster Airport, bigger keyboard... surely they could have brought the 15" in line with these things..?

Not that it matters to me anyways, cus there aren't too many people givin' out free PowerBooks to poor IT students down here in Oz.

It's a ploy to get you to buy new. The 12" is the mini book. The 17" is the monster. And then there is the normal powerbooks.
