New Powerbook Battery Maxes at 94%

I just replaced my 12" Powerbook G4 battery with a brand new one 2 days ago. I installed it and it was half charged out of the box. I ran it down to 0% and then fully charged it to 100%. I used my battery today and it drained to about 45%. I plugged it back in and it's been sitting at 94% for 4 hours now.

What do I do to get it back to 100%?

Thanks...

You can re-calibrate your battery by running your laptop on it until it is "totally" empty (the PowerBook will then go into Sleep Mode automatically).

Afterwards it should work okay again - and show the full 100 %.

There is also an article over in the Apple.com Knowledge Database that gives some battery calibration info.

Hope this helps.
