New Tin Help Please ...

I've installed tin on both of my Macs. It runs on my iMac just fine, but when I try to launch it on my Tibook I get the following message:

Can't get a (fully-qualified) domain-name!

Try and save newsrc file again? (y/n): y


Any ideas what is wrong?

Try reconfiguring with --with-domain-name=yourdomain.com . I think that should do it.

Ok. That did the trick. Now it reads news from my news server. What's weird is that I did not need to do this on my imac. Hmm...

Next question, how do I set it up so that it reads from a different news server also? Like, nntp.perl.org. I would like to be able to read news form these newsgroups also.
