I am new to mac and I have a G3 with MAC OS X Server now I have a windows 2003 domain and I would like it to join or communicate to these machine first then I can ask other questions later. Please Help
 
I have MAC OS X 10.3 version hopefully you understand my question I want it to communicate with my windows 2003 domain controller or if you can add it as a seperate server but be able to see the other servers or add it to the domain
 
Sure. Do you only want your OS X Server to provide file services? If you have Windows 2003 Active Directory in place, you can join your OS X Server using the Active Directory plugin in Applications -> Utilities -> Directory Access.

You'll need to make some specific alterations to your smb.conf file, to have the Samba service join to use AD kerberos authentication properly. AFP is a little more complex. You'll need to create Kerberos keytabs.
 
ok I went to were you are telling me and it states active directory forest and active directory domain and computer ID what do I type
 
Ok this my problem I have gone to directory access and the choice I have is to enter Active Directory Forest and Active Directory Domain and when I do type my domain like na.jnj.com it states invalid domain enter at the sequence or same time can someone help me on this I almost have it joining to the domain I reall y want to learn this and it would greatly be appriciated
 
have you tried simply jnj.com?

At most of my sites, I haven't needed to specify a FQDN, but rather just the domain that the AD is providing.
 
yeah ok because that was the onlything it was saying invalid domain sequence, I only have 1 PDC and the others are BDC
