Hi
I've searched and read and still finding it difficult to understand how to do the following....I'm obviously doing something completely stupid or just simply not getting it...so appologies.
I'm fairly new to mac and not overly techy, but this is my issue...
I've created an iMovie DVD slideshow of our wedding pictures which worked out great, I then created a DVD that could be used on standard home DVD players but the original rendering took hours...so I then created a .img file of the rendered DVD thinking I could simply burn the .img onto DVD saving time. Problem is all I end up with is a DVD with the file on....how can I do the following:
- convert a .img file to a DVD that's playable in a normal home DVD player
- have the DVD accessible by both Mac & PC, as the DVD also contains the original photographs that are in the slideshow
- for future purposes I'd like to create NTSC DVDs as well as PAL DVDs as half the family are in Canada, half in the UK.....how do I create the applicable format?
I've read lots about .img v ISO and I'm man enough to admit that it's all gone obver my head and a little too techy (soory), I just simply want to know how to create a playable DVD from a .img file?
I appreciate some have either seen similar questions before, haven't got the time, or think this is really simple and a bit of a stupid question....but I really need help and appreciate any supportanyone can offer. I've promised to get these DVDs to family thinking it would be straightforward and now I'm stuck! I love Macs but this has me majorly stumped.
Software I have:
- Toast 7 Titanium
- Disk Utility (standard OS software)
- Express Burn
Again, thanks!
