I am having a minor problem with a OS X (10.3.4) mounting a couple of NFS partions (from Solaris servers).
The way that the user space on the servers is configured is there is one partition (i.e. /users) that contains soft links for each user to a sperate partition (e.g /users/stewart --> /users01/stewart).
I have the NFS mounts configured in the "Netinfo Manager" (e.g under "/mounts").
However after restart (or if the nobody has been logged on for a while) the login process is unable to access the home directory, it appears to mount the "/users" partition but doesn't follow through to "/users01". Going in on the command line and typing something like "ls /users01/stewart" will show what you want and then the user can log in with no problems (at least for a while).
Is there anything I can do by changing settings for the mounts to stop this login problem having.
