I have a LAN - 1 pc (win2k)/ 1 Mac (OSX 10.3.1). After I upgraded to Panther the problem is that on the PC can see the folders on the Mac but cannot see their contents: I get an 'Access is denied' error.
As I'm logging in from windows via network neighborhood as (say) 'john' to the Mac I can see all folders 'john' owns on the Mac. As soon as I click one, instead of seeing the contents I get the error message.
I give r/w permission to the user and it's group, to 'others' also. For the containing folder and for the file in the folder. Yet I can only see the folder, not the file.
What is wrong here?
