No communication with printer and scanner

I had a 6 yr old computer die, replaced it with a imac i5 and had the hard drive files transfered to the new one. Now my epson printer and scanner won't communicate. I tried downloading & installing updated printer drivers, no change. No answer from Epson email as of three days ago. Any ideas?
 
I think problem is your data cable is damaged or your software is not support Mac application
