'No Mountable File Systems'

My friend just sent a program he found, and I can't seem to mount it I just get the error above.

Any way to retrieve the info inside?

Ok, it's a program he made on RealBasic, he managed to get it onto a dmg somehow, and named it Resume1.dmg

He sent it to me over MSN, I am interested in how the program works. But everytime I launch it it just shows the error.

The dmg file is probably corrupt. Get him to send it to you again.

I know, it seems like a strange thing to do to fix this, but it might just do the trick. I've had problems with disk images that won't mount on a couple of occasions before, and every time it has been related to the same file having the wrong permissions: /System/Library/Filesystems/cd9660.fs

After repairing (and probably reboot, can't remember), everything worked again.

In Disk Utility (Mac OS X 10.3.3 or later), you may see the message: "We are using special permissions for the file or directory ./System/Library/Filesystems/cd9660.fs/cd9660.util.
New permissions are 33261"

This is a status message and not a cause for concern. You may safely ignore it.
