Hi
I'm not very computer tech savvy at all, so I'm probably not familiar with the right technical words to describe my problem but I'll give my best shot.
So, a few days ago while watching a movie the dvd started to skip and I took out my headphones and turned down the volume slightly before the dvd stopped skipping. When the movie resumed there was no sound.
When I try to use the volume control keys on the keyboard the little sound picture comes up but wont allow me to change the volume, it only shows the volume all the way up and one of those circles with a dash through it below it. At the bar on top of my screen were another volume control is I can't move it at all, it just stays all the way up.
Now when I plug in headphones none of this happens, I can listen to whatever I want and change the volume.
I've looked into my sound preferences but I have no clue what should be there, or isn't there, or shouldn't be there.
If you could help it would be appreciated! Thanks!
