Noise from 20" Apple Cinema Display

Hi,

I hear this noise (similar to a 60's cycle hum) from my Cinema Display (this is the older plastic LCD not the silver ones) after turning on my computer for a few minutes.

I don't hear it constantly, it goes away for a while and then comes back
again. There are days when I don't hear it at all and some days when its
louder than usual.

Anyone else here experienced this before? this is a 4 year old monitor,
Apart from this noise and 2 dead pixels its working fine. Just wondering
if this is a sign that it will crap out soon and I should start shopping for a new
LCD.

I think if I'm not mistaken that noise is a high pitch noise like the ones that come from CRT monitors or TV's right?

If so then I wouldn't say it's a sign that it's going to crap out but it is ware and tear. When you have a lot of white on your screen does it make a sound? how about when there's a lot of darker colors?
