Hi

I have the following hardware:
iBook 700 with OS X 10.1.4
PCI GW-BH02U Bluetooth USB Adapter
Nokia 6310i

I just switched to Apple Mac last month, so my knowledge of mac is limited. The software that came with the Bluetooth adapter is only for PC and so is the Nokia software.

I upgraded my OS X 10.1.4 with the latest Apple Bluetooth Technology Preview 2.1 software which I downloaded from the apple website and set up Bluetooth on the Mac as described in the readme.txt file. Pairing the two devices was easy, but I couldn't manage to dial out to my ISP.
I set up mobilephonemodem, but couldn't select Nokia 6310i anywhere. I tried with some Ericsson T39 settings, but that didn't work either.

Does anyone know a solution? Is there some Nokia 6310i software for Mac? Has anyone tried the PCI Bluetooth adapter?

Regards,

Philipp

I'm on my way to the same point you're at. I have everything but the phone, and being in the US, I have to wait for a friend to go to the UK to get it...

You should be able to do it with little extra software on either end... I'm running in Jaguar 10.2 now, and Bluetooth system preferences let's you scan and configure your phone. You'd have to create a new port, and when you do, you'd have the choice to pick a ''modem" port on your phone.

As I don't have the phone yet, I can't say. But you should ok, (if you're on Jaguar)...

Try expansys.com, (no affiliation), they might have info...

Good luck.
