non-dull-cross-platform-unicode-fonts???

Well here is my dillema.
I just did a website update. As some of you may see, I have included several new langauge translations. I want to preserve the look of my website, and not use only 1 font (that would be really dull). Some fonts are not completelly unicode, so MacOS X conveniently replaces the symbols that are missing from that particular font with some default font that has that symbol Example: o* in vietnamese.

Under windows, there is no substitution effect and those subsituted letters in macosx appear as squares in windex, which really kills the look. (and might make stuff illegible).

Now, I *could* embed fonts into my website, but I know that peple disable those, therefore what is the point ? I can keep fonts unspecified, but that makes the website dull. What fonts are unicode and are available defaulty in most platforms ??

Any other possible solutions ????
