NUM 7/Systemworks 2.0

OS X Supreme Being
So Symantec has announced that NUM7/Systemworks 2.0 will be shipping early April. Look over the product info, and you will see that only FileSaver, DiskDoctor and UnErase will work under OS X. So if we want to optimize our HardDrives, which is what I use NUM for most of the time, we have to reboot from the CD which runs under OS 9.

I can't believe Symantec would release this suite as is without SpeedDisk for OS X. I mean, one of the great things about Norton Utilities under NT/2000/XP, is that you can run SpeedDisk in the background while you work. No need to reboot, no need to boot off of a CD.

Man, I really hope Micromat gets TechTool Pro on OS X soon. Drive10 looks nice, but it only fixes drives, it doesn't optimize them.
