OE Rules Corrupted

When I open entourage to check email, it says that OE Rules File appears Corrupt. Rules cannot be used. And it ceases the opening of the application. So I can't open entourage. Using a gmail pop account with entourage version x. OS is 10.3.9. Any advice would be appreciated.
 
See if there's a "Rules" file in
[Your Home Directory]/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office Identity
. If so drag it to the trash, then try to run Entourage and you should be OK.
