older version of Mac keyboards?

I recently bought a new keyboard for my iMac after a beer spill damaged my old keyboard. I went to Best Buy and noticed that all that was available was the new, very thin model of the keyboard with no numeric keypad. I am finding myself making lots of typing errors on this keyboard. Apparently, key sizes are different and the arrangement of even the shift key is not identical to what it was before. Is there any way to buy the old-style keyboards? Or are they out of production now?

Any help would be appreciated!

I'm sure they aren't producing any off of the assembly line, but I bet you can count on buying one off of ebay.

Did you happen to buy the bluetooth keyboard? Thats the only version I know of that has no numeric keypad

Yes, that's the one I bought. You mean the non-bluetooth has a numeric keypad? Man, that one is probably bigger and more comfortable, then! Wish I had known that!

Are you determined to stick with Apple-type keyboards? If not, then I suggest you buy a Win-type USB one instead.

They work well with Mac, they're a darn sight cheaper, and I personally prefer the key touch. I'm currently using a Chicony Excel that cost me US$10, and it's been working just fine for nearly two years. I also have a Genius PS2 for which I had to buy a Belkin PS2-USB adaptor.
