I had a feeling that was the case since I fell for a similar one (about a ghost in the picture), so to minimize the startle I zoomed in and was looking for "something wrong with the picture"... But damn the audio got me! Wasn't expecting audio! LOL :)


 
As Tormente said, I was expecting something along the lines of the "ghost" image also.
But DAMN! Audio!.... Gotta admit though, It was a shocker! :)

Ed: Any forum section with a topic called "Herve's Bar and Grill" that is STILL active doesn't deserve to be looked at often. :p
 
Herve's Bar & Grill is not a topic. It is a place. a very fun place at times, I might add. We have a great bunch of regulars and wonderful people dropping in and out all the time. You should visit us SimX.

Just because we don't discuss who has the biggest harddrive or which browser can do more push ups, doesn't mean we are boring. sometimes there is more to life than tech stuff.:cool:

I knew you guys would get a kick out of it. :D When my neighbor first showed me that, I was leaning down to look at her laptop, and I literally jumped across the room to the bed on the other side. I was so f***ing scared. I also laughed uncontrollably for about 20 minutes after I saw this. Of course, I had to share it with other people in the dorm, and with you guys. :D

What really makes it scary though is if you go back and actually download the file; the creator actually deleted the eyes from the screaming guy picture and filled the empty space with black, so it looks like the guy's eyes are hollow. It makes it really freaky... of course there's the unexpected nature of it and the audio. :D

I also don't like to go to a forum section that has a 1500 reply-long thread about cussing. Seriously, lock it already, admin! I also am opposed to the "decentralizing" of MacOSX.com, because it now doesn't feel as welcoming, because there's not as many new posts in each section and I have to go searching for the new threads instead of having 'em all centralized -- so I'm basically staying to general discussion and programming. But let's not make this thread about that -- we can save it for another thread.

I want to hear some more screams from everybody. :)

I thought I was the only guy who thought that. Breaking the forum into more sections only makes sense for boards that are far more popular than this one. They did it for macworld while traffic was up. Now were stuck with an inactive board.

But let's not make this thread about that -- we can save it for another thread.

Actually, it was in Herve's Bar and Grill that I saw it...
Even though this one is larger (depending on browser size), I do prefer the other one since it appears to be an image (embedded flash), where as, this one the link clearly shows its a Flash file. =)

I would have replied in the "Herves" thread, but by the time I saw the post, it appeared yall had clearly moved on to bigger, better topics :)
