Changes in this release:

• Hopefully fixed the HTML table layout bug (as seen at versiontracker, macslash, etc.)

- If everyone who was experiencing this problem could give this release a through test with the sites where this bug had been affecting you we would really appreciate it. If you do encounter a case that would indicate the bug has not been completely fixed, please let us know about it by sending mail to sneakypeek@omnigroup.com. Include a screenshot if possible. Thanks!

• Fixed the bug which added an '@' sign to the end of a user-entered URL which had trailing spaces.

Yay! :) It seems to be pretty much fixed, from my experience. And that's a good thing. Now, if only it would work decently with my bank (I can manage to use OW with my bank), and it would stop displaying appleturns.com in bold!

But it's still my preferred browser. :)

Errm. :confused: It doesn't display anything on As the Apple Turns in bold that isn't explicitly coded with the <B> and </B> tags. What are you talking about?

Remember, folks, that the UI code for 4.1 was frozen a LONG time ago, back around sp 10, IIRC. Tabs are on the list of new features for 5.0. Believe me, they've gotten *plenty* of feedback about this already and have a few ideas in the works.
 
Yep, tabs have been requested by many on the omniweb-mailinglist. Others have thought they might not be the end-of-all-discussion, but I guess overall the users want them.

As The Apple Turns looks good here, too. I really think 4.1 will be final in the next build or the one after that. Maybe they'll post an RC1 first, but they've gone to final with earlier versions without any such builds.

I guess it'll still take a while before 5.0 builds will appear, but 4.1 will remain my default browser. Until IE 5.5 (or whatever the next IE will be called) is upon us. Or until 5.0 builds of OmniWeb start dropping in.

It's not OW's fault that AtAT is in bold! Just check the source code of AtAT - he forgot the end tag for some bold text (near the top). Just fix that in the source, hit "Redisplay" and you have a nice non-bold AtAT.
