One set of users, many computers...

I have some questions about network solutions in OS X.
I want to do the following:

Create one set of users and then use the same set, via network, on many diffrent computers all running OSX. One of them, of cause, acting server for the user set and each users personal files.

questions:

Is this possible using OSX only or do i have too run OSX server on one of the computers?

If it´s possible using OS X, how is it done?
Witch system applications can i use to setup this?
What does those diffrent applications do, (i.e. Netinfo)

Please Help me out

sounds like a job for server.

i could be wrong, but it sounds like you need that Macintosh Manager App.
