Hi,

I've removed all my Darwin based software installed with FINK and then reinstalled FINK (that is, sudo rm -rf /sw and all the X11 stuff then reinstalled all of FINK with the FINK installer).

Since reinstalling FINK I've run fink scanpackes and sudo dselect and when I do an update I only get 13 packages updating... But if I go and do a fink update I get 427 or so updated/listed.

What's up with that? Is the fink package database not up and running or something or is a problem with my install?

Please help,
Thanks,
Kent!

BTW, here's some output to look at:

Welcome to Darwin!
[localhost:~] ka5% fink scanpackages
sudo /sw/bin/fink scanpackages
Reading package info...
Information about 427 packages read in 1 seconds.
dpkg-scanpackages dists/local/main/binary-darwin-powerpc override | gzip >dists/local/main/binary-darwin-powerpc/Packages.gz
Wrote 0 entries to output Packages file.
dpkg-scanpackages dists/stable/main/binary-darwin-powerpc override | gzip >dists/stable/main/binary-darwin-powerpc/Packages.gz
Wrote 0 entries to output Packages file.
dpkg-scanpackages dists/stable/crypto/binary-darwin-powerpc override | gzip >dists/stable/crypto/binary-darwin-powerpc/Packages.gz
Wrote 0 entries to output Packages file.
