Open Office not Launching

I just reinstaled Mac OS X on my computer and I'm trying to get open office to work but so far I'm unsuccessful. When I try to launch the program I get the following error:

"OpenOffice.org for Mac OS X cannot be started, because the X11 software is not installed. Please install Apple X11 first from the Mac OS X install DVD...."

I tried installing X11 but it says that its already Installed. What do I do?

Did you install X11 from Apple's site, or your OS X DVD?

I think I remember having the same problem, and I ended up using the one from Apple's site.
