hello,
i'm trying to set up a nice website statistics software: urchin.
it allows online access to the statistics by installing a reduced apache server using port 9999, complementary to our webserver (mac OS X 10.3.3 server)
so i set it up on our webserver machine. Problem is, i can access it locally with http://localhost:9999 but not through the internet (www.domain.com:9999) .
So i've check and it seems the router that connects our network to the internet needs to be told to access requests made to port 9999, and to forward these requests to our webserver.
i've managed to access the router via telnet, it says: "FlowPoint/2025-12 ATM25 Router v3.10.72 ready"
any idea how do i do that ? are there any tools (windows/ mac) that can help me do that ?
i'm really novice in these matters so please do not hesitate to tell me if i need to be more precise, or to tell me where to look for help.
thanks a lot mates
