Open ports in my Zyxel router!

Hi Guys!
How do I go about to open some ports in my router as under?
I want to open some ports for BitTorrent. Also as I use 2-3 computers through this router the Computers will have higher IP addresses the just 192.168.1.2. Can I open a range of IP with an asterix or something? ie 192.168.1.* or what to do?

Here is my router settings today:

Port # IP Address
------ ---------------
1. Default 0.0.0.0
2. 407 192.168.1.2
3. 22 192.168.1.2
4. 3283 198.168.1.2
5. 0 0.0.0.0
6. 0 0.0.0.0
7. 0 0.0.0.0
8. 0 0.0.0.0

I want to make sure that you understand that opening ports means for inbound requests, not outbound. Opening one port to multiple local IP addresses would mean that multiple computers would try to respond to one request -- which wouldn't work, which is why the router won't let you do it.

(and you see that entry #4 above has a typo, right?)

Yes gsahli,
I know that, but is not 2-3 Computers recognized as outbound? and the other ports I want to open is for BitTorrent and I will only open them when I want to use BitTorrent to increase the speed of BT. Thats what I have to do I'v been learned.

Also it's good to know how to use the ports in other cases :)

I don't know anthing about BitTorrent. Sorry.
From any of your 3 computers, any port request can be passed to the Wide Area Network through the router (the firewall doesn't stop that direction). Only inbound port requests are controlled at the firewall/by port forwarding.
Does this answer your question?

Yes but I don't know but I have some problems with ie. MSN Messenger and iChat for file transfers etc. can that be because of the firewall in the router?

There may be some other problem with your router. It doesn't sound like a firewall or port forwarding problem.
