Opening TCP/UDP Ports

Hi there,

I need to allow TCP and UDP access to port 6881 but I'm not having much success. Can anyone could help me out please?

I have used the System Preferences/Sharing/Firewall tab to add port 6881 and have enabled it for both TCP and UDP.

I also have a Netgear Router which has a built-in Firewall, so I used its web interface control panel to setup rules for port 6881 (both TCP and UDP) so it forwards to my LAN IP.

However, this doesn't seem to work. I think it may be a problem with my dynamically assigned IP address or the LAN IP I'm using.

If its any help - I'm running a G5 (OS X 10.4.3) with an Airport card which connects to an Airport Express, which is plugged in to the Netgear router.

Can anyone offer any suggestions please?

Thanks...
