Opening Web links on an entourage email

Hi all

I have come across a seemingly random problem with a users entourage/internet access, where they receive a perfectly normal text email in entourage that has a web page URL hyperlink. When clicking on the hyperlink safari opens but the page wont connect to it. Yet when you type in the URL the web page opens fine.
OS is 10.3.9, Entourage version is 11.0.0

I had a look in entourage and safari prefs for a setting of some kind but had no luck....

any ideaS?

Improperly embedded URL's may look fine, but have breaks. It is recommended that they be enclosed in brackets like this <http://www.macosx.com/forums/showthread.php?t=271923> to preserve their integrity.
